This Waffle House rocks ! The employees are excited and the atmosphere is energized!
Besides the great waffles and breakfast food you can meet a true Waffle House star
Queen Sarah !!! She's a fabulous server and a devoted Waffle House employee . In fact she's been with the company for more than 20 years !
Her dedication to the restaurant and customer service are evident from the moment you meet her .
Her commitment to excellence in your dining experience is her only goal !
The food was delicious. The service was great !
I'd say stop here if you're in the area and see for yourself! Tell Sarah I said hi ! -

Being this Waffle House is in a small town and the next best breakfast spot is about seven or eight miles from the hotel where we stayed. You would think you would get A1 service. The Waffle House is walking distance from the hotel and I'm sure most of their guest stay at the hotel or nearby. The southern hospitality was there when we entered and then just went out the door. The cook/chef named James was probably the only one who was polite and very helpful. The waitress took our order, and then a few of the ladies were having a conversation and took the conversation inside the little office and then James had to finish doing what he had to do and take care of us. We could tell that whatever they were discussing had to do with who was going to do what and when not good when you have a small restaurant and we could hear part of their conversations. The only thing I could think of is that they were truly having a bad day. So my husband stated, we will drive a few miles and head over to Cracker Barrel next time we are in town.

I used to love this location so much. But I guess they changed workers and it just isn't the same anymore. The service isn't as great as before. The workers act as if they do not want to work here. Some workers will sit at the seat behind you at the other table and will stay on FT being really loud, while working. Pretty unprofessional.

Ordered crispy bacon and well scrambled eggs. Toast arrived late and cold. Butter didn't even melt. Bacon was undercooked eggs where ok. The hashbrowns where good. Only one waitress seemed to care about checking in on things. .

Waffle House is a hit or miss depending the employees and the time. I hit the sweet spot with this Waffle House. Early AM on a Saturday.
My service was excellent. I had coffee within seconds of sitting down.
I ordered the Bacon / Egg and Cheese on Toast with a side of "franken hash browns - extra crispy". My franken-hash-browns is everything except the chilly (it is topped with sausage gravy). I always order extra crispy so they are cooked well done (this is why it is important to hit this at the right time with the right employees in my opinion).
Everything was perfect. The best $12 meal I could have purchased. I am glad I put on my stretchy pants :)
